Well then you'll be happy to know that they are starting to go away from stretch goals, and instead will make "thank you for supporting" stuff/items for that hanger for ever $1mill they get.

I don't really have a dog in this fight so to speak so I am just an observer. If the game is ever released and is amazing I'll be a customer for sure. Nothing until then though. I hope you guys get in to play it for your donations t a minimum.
 
For me it's not about getting my share of play time for the money I dropped in to it, it's more about helping them make the kind of game I have missed for many years, and I know I'll drop more money in to it before it's done. I just want it to come true.
 
I'm abit sad that i missed the dog tags that was on sale a little while ago, when I found out and checked the store there was only 1 left and that one was sold before i could get it :(
 
Are we able to group up and do multiplayer together now? Or is it just random matchmaking?

Don't think they have put that in to the matchmaking system, yet. Think I read/heard that it will be in AC 1.0 (Alpha-build 15), and we are atm on AC 0.8 (Alpha-build 12.5).
 
In the next update to AC (AC v0.9) we are going to be able to play against friends and wanduul swarm in co-op with friends (2-4 players) :cool:
The update will come in 2-3 weeks..
On live stream from GamesCom in Germany atm.

*Think also the race mode will be in AC then* ;)

So it seems that atleast one of the contellation variants will be an explorer, might want to go for that one or maybe the fighter variant we know they'll probably make as well and get a freelancer for trading. Oh and i loved the Space Odyssy vibe from the commercial :D
 
*sigh* RSI will own all my money when the game comes out, will probably have a 300i series for exploration, freelancer max for trading and a contellation phoenix for just cruising at that time:p

AND i just found out all the connies have more room than the freelancer max so can scratch that one of my list :p ....... did found out that theres an mining ship called the Orion from RSI in the ship specs :cool:
 
mhmm went to check out my new phoenix and noticed that theres only the upper turrent, hope it's just a mistake or me not being able to find the switch for the lower turrent because both techical overview and brochure mentions 2 turrents and it'll lower it's combat effectiveness.

*EDIT* ahh they have confirmed the 2 turrents but they currently have some problems with the model atm, atleast i don't have to worry now :D

I know how you feel. I currently have the hornet ghost for escort and sneaking missions, the 315p exploration and trade and the freelancer MIS for support. And I want to get the Retaliator when it becomes available.
 
Mhmm been catching up on the custom NPCs on the forum because i'll probably need some for my Phoenix, and it seems you'll need to pay them just like normal NPC crew. Hope they'll include a long term employment instead of just per mission and maybe let us save abit of cred doing so since they're made with character slots you have brought.
 
Plan on some time for downloading. It is a large download (still downloading and patching for 2 hours)
