I wouldn't care so much about who - just to give someone a heads up on a date/time if I do want to deliver it myself. If you could just pass on that to someone there, that'd be all I'd want. I don't need to talk to anyone directly myself.

LOL! Awesome idea TKR - making the cake in a shape of one of the TSW creatures or something similar would be funny. Or perhaps the monster slayer jacket to represent the cabal. :)
 
I think there was talk of a sheet cake with the LoMS charter from the clubhouse in game. Too lazy to go look for the post. Ha ha ha

I would kinda rather support a local bakery. Was thinking some sort of sheet cake with something like the treehouse. I'm also curious what the theme of the event this month will be - perhaps something related to that. Best guess, there will be monster slaying required.

Give me some ideas and I'll see what's feasible and what I can get done.
 
How about a thread were those of us who wish to contribute put our names and we use PayPal or something and our toon names get printed onto the cake or something?

...or something ;)
 
Might be too late (I've been busy with family, etc.) but I'm going to try to shoot an email to a bakery about a cake, ideally available by the weekend. Thinking a simple 1/2 sheet cake with some writing on it to keep things simple. Designs and symbols would take more work. Specialty cakes would be nice but probably harder to customize.

As for text, I was thinking 'Happy Krampusnacht from the League of Monster Slayers cabal' but that might be too long. I think we're known widely enough that 'LoMS' should be fairly clear.

Any suggestions? I'd like to have the email out by tomorrow night so it'll be available at the bakery by Thurs. AM.
 
LoMS should be fine. Any theme is fine by me, and as I've said I'll gladly contribute, just need a Paypal account :D
 
Cake update: Email sent to the bakery asking for a sheet cake ready by tomorrow afternoon or Sat. morning at latest. Got a reply so thinking Operation LoMS Cake is a go.

Didn't have time to do much planning but sent a few designs:

Thanks for taking the lead on this Fleta! Do you think we need to spell-out League of Monster Slayers vs LoMS or will they know what that is if we use the acryonym? I'm guessing they know, but just a thought I had.

If they don't know what LoMS is... Cheshire hasn't been doing his job. :p

I'm still waiting to hear back from them but I'd prefer either the first or second design - the third is just as simple of an alternate as I could think of.
