Guide Penthouse Mini Dungeon

We downed the Flappy Boss!!!!!!! And modified the guide with the info. Stay tuned for fight number 3.

very nice guide! But this i don´t understane, why one DPS on every Uta when they shield each other?

They do not shield each other. Each has their own shield. They replenish their own shield periodically. Dedicating a dps per Uta means that you can keep an eye on their unique abilities and that you can keep them at the same Sisterly Bond stack level. If a team is comfortable enough to switch Uta's then they can.

ok, i understand, it´s not like in the solo instance. thx, that sounds like a good plan! (:

The purple Uta's special tactic is a Ninja Something ability that shrouds/hides her so she eventually pops up somewhere else in the room and puts up an evade buff. Somewhere in there she has a buff that puts dots on the tank.
From my small test sample the Psychic shield seems to be recast after approximately 1 minute.

The cybernetic shield is like all other shields and the Uta gets a small buff timer counting down to when it will be recast.

Thank you! We will look for that and try and get more details.

We left some casts out to simplify the fight, afflict is probably Sling Blade.
May add additional section that mentions all the other casts.

Great info! I'm curious (and should have checked ACT ), is the damage from the second and third fight blockable? I'm wondering if my NYR healtank would work well with high phys resistance or if I need to finish maxing my dungeon healtank.

Ugly

Some damage is blockable as per normal. However filth damage like the Wind and the stacks from the filth is not. No filth damage is blockable.

First and second fight are mostly mechanic based fights, and the incoming (burst)damage isn't that high (as long as you impair the deadlier casts), so i think either would work, especially since they use blood/blade and AR so i would assume most damage is physical. I don't think third can actually be healtanked, even with block+evade tank with dedicated fistol healer the incoming damage is just massive.

Thanks, that's the impression I've been getting on the third one as well. Kind of cool to finally get a challenging fist heal fight :) Impressive that the healing is worse than solo healtanking NYR, that's intense, I can't even imagine healing this one! *hugs a healer*

I have so many questions about how you all tried to attempt the last fight, what seemed to work versus what didn't, etc. What DPS builds did you try for the last fight? Was everyone running split single target/AOE builds? Or were some DPS designated for AOE, while others for single target? Also, I am assuming that with the filth that closes in, that DPS would need to be wearing at least 4k health?

At this point i cant really recommend any builds yet, maybe after we have gotten further in the fight.
But i think it's is best to use as little AoE's as possible, despite the AoE wave at start, as you will need massive amounts of single target DPS for the spider boss and Hulks.
Waves also spawn slower than we thought at first and they don't do awfully lot of damage.

I think we are going to test more today, so maybe i can add actual recommendations to guide/comments.

We forgot to mention that (should be fixed now) that Filth scales on HP,so as long as DPS can dodge the AoE's it should be fine to go squishy. Heal over time potion should be enough to negate the filth damage too.

First team just beat the encounter and they uploaded a video too! https://forums.thesecretworld.com/showthread.php?86482-Penthouse-NM-First(-)-full-Clear That might offer more insight.

okay,we tried again tonight and regular DABS build did enough aoe damage with Scattershot+bloodsport+gross anatomy (im hoping this isn't a big dps loss on single target), i was also running the CD passives for DABS (buffed for 2nd dogs->DABS back up for start of start spider fight). We got further than we did last time, we actually managed to kill the 2nd hulk and and spider moved to next position.
Should have more time to test tomorrow when we aren't going for Uta 3min achievement.

I thought about the dps builds, and think that proc based builds are probably the way to go for all fights. These builds seem to be about competitive with percentage based builds and deal much better with shifting targets. Mostly centered around iron maiden, sudden return, bloodsport, and gross anatomy, with further passives adjusted towards your stats and fight needs.
For the 3rd fight, you can probably forgoe bloodsport+GA and use Thunderstruck instead.

Bloodline is my builder of choice, but Hair Trigger/The Buisness are very good pistol Options. For melee you can use Run Rampant (Tank and in case you want an additional melee dps for the last fight). The builds will also work great with the Critical and Penetration Bypass modules which are probably the best aegis damage increases.

P-Uta Special Tactic is called Ninja Evasion. It starts with a smoke bomb vanish and teleport that also Drops her from your offensive target. When she reappears in a smoke cloud she casts ninja Evasion, which can be impaired if you are fast. If not impaired it grants her the Ninja Evasion buff for 6 seconds. She grows in size and was a light blue swirly effect around her. Hitting her while the buff is active will grant her stacks of Ninja Retaliatin? , which in some way increase the damage she does.
