The NDA has been lifted and 2.4 is released to the public cycle wave of the test server. From the SC forum posts and videos there will be some interesting changes.
Persistence is coming
Shopping and earning credits
Starfarer flyable and refuelling
New interface for ship configuration
Just to mention some of the highlights.
