Bartle Taxonomy

As members of a cabal, I thought some of you might be interested in hearing about the Bartle Taxonomy of player types.

Bartle posits four basic player types: Explorers, Socializers, Achievers, and Killers.
Explorers (aka "Spades" ... think of a shovel) like to explore the game world,
Socializers (aka "Hearts") like to interact with other players and share intel,
Achievers (aka "Diamonds") like to accumulate something (ip, cosmetics, whatever), and
Killers (aka "Clubs") like to kill things. Killers tend not to talk very much (if they say anything at all, it's usually along the lines of "Kill, kill, kill !!!"). Killers also tend to like PvP (i.e. imposing themselves on others).

Most people have some combination of these basic traits.

P.S. I am "EASK" ... 80% Explorer (Vagabond achievement :)), 53% Achiever (no interest in grinding for ip, but 90+ pets! 900+ appearance mods! 20+ sprints! :)), 53% Socializer (this post :)), and 13% Killer (generally friendly, but still, you don't want to catch me on a bad day :))

You are 60% Explorer
What Bartle says:

♠ Explorers delight in having the game expose its internal machinations to them. They try progressively esoteric actions in wild, out-of-the-way places, looking for interesting features (ie. bugs) and figuring out how things work. Scoring points may be necessary to enter some next phase of exploration, but it's tedious, and anyone with half a brain can do it. Killing is quicker, and might be a constructive exercise in its own right, but it causes too much hassle in the long run if the deceased return to seek retribution. Socialising can be informative as a source of new ideas to try out, but most of what people say is irrelevant or old hat. The real fun comes only from discovery, and making the most complete set of maps in existence.

I think that most of the questions would benefit from more than two choices, especially since four types are postulated. Oh well.
